US beauty and personal care sales on TikTok Shop reached $992.9 million in Q3 2026, up 39.1% on last year but only 1.3% on Q2, according to Charm.io data reported by Beauty Independent. Active beauty product videos jumped 76% to 10.4 million, so sales per active video fell to $96, down from about $379 two years ago. Beauty still made up 17.8% of TikTok Shop sales over the 12 months to September.
Straight up: TikTok Shop beauty is still huge, but it has stopped growing fast, and the easy wins have gone. Sales grew 1.3% quarter on quarter while the number of videos shot up 76% year on year. More brands are posting more videos and each one sells less.
That changes the maths. Flooding the feed with cheap videos now gets you less per post than it did a year ago. The brands that win will be the ones whose creators make videos that actually sell.
This is why we build a creator army, not a content farm. Find the creators who convert, give them a clear brief from your B.R.A.I.N.™, then put paid behind the outliers. Personal care appliances are the one subcategory where growth sped up, so watch that space if you sell there.
