Meta has moved its Generative Ads Model (GEM) from separate models for Facebook, Instagram and Reels to one central model that learns from signals across all of its ad platforms. Meta says GEM delivered an 18.9% conversion improvement and a 12% click-through rate improvement across its ad surfaces and objectives over the past year.
Meta no longer learns about your ads in separate boxes. One model now sees what works on Facebook, Instagram and Reels together, and Meta says that lifted conversions by 18.9% and click-through rate by 12% across its surfaces in the past year.
For a Shopify brand, the message is simple: the machine wants more signal in fewer places. Accounts chopped into lots of small campaigns split by placement or audience give it less to learn from.
We would consolidate, keep the targeting broad and spend the energy on creative. When the model does the matching, creative diversity drives performance: more angles beat more edits. And your B.R.A.I.N.™ is where those angles come from: who buys, why they buy, how they talk.
