Our take

Google Ads is rolling out a Search terms and ad combinations report for AI Max for Search campaigns. It shows the search term, the headlines and descriptions shown, the landing page, whether the match came from AI Max expansion or URL inclusions, and whether the advertiser supplied the assets. It has appeared in some accounts so far, and Google has not confirmed full rollout timing.

AI Max lets Google pick the search, write parts of the ad and choose the landing page. Until now you had to stitch several reports together to see what it actually did. This report puts it on one screen.

For a Shopify brand that matters because a good search sent to the wrong product page burns money just like a bad search. Now you can spot both.

We would treat this as a weekly hygiene check. Judge it on sales and cost per sale, not clicks, which is also the warning Search Engine Land gives.
