Google made Gemini Nano Banana 2.1 generally available on 6 October. Its release notes call it "the latest high-efficiency image generation and conversational editing model". It adds better visual quality, better prompt following and consistent characters across several edits, plus new panoramic formats and 1K, 2K and 4K resolutions.
Consistency is the big one for brands. If the same model, outfit or scene holds steady across a series of images, you can build a set of ads around one idea and change the angle each time. That's how creative diversity works on Meta: more angles, not more edits of the same image.
Be careful with the product itself. Customers need to see exactly what they'll get, so keep real photography on product pages. Use AI for scenes, backgrounds and fast ad variations, and brief it from your B.R.A.I.N.™ so every image looks like your brand.
