OpenAI held DevDay on 29 September. TechCrunch reports ChatGPT will now suggest apps during conversations when one could help finish a task, and developers can build interactive panels that run inside the chat. OpenAI says ChatGPT has 1.2 billion weekly users.
OpenAI also launched Dots, agents that run on their own cloud computer and browser. TechCrunch says they can connect to over 4,000 apps and do proactive research in read-only mode, with the user approving any action.
